West Virginia es sports betting bill 3t664u13 March 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- In October 2017, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming was engaged by the West Virginia Lottery to conduct a market study covering the impact of sports betting legalization on the West Virginia gaming market and overall economy. After delivering its initial report, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming continued to serve as a resource for the West Virginia Lottery as the agency moved its sports betting initiative from proposal to reality. On 10 March 2018, a bill to legalize and regulate sports betting in West Virginia became law (pending the end of a federal ban on state-regulated sports betting). West Virginia's decisive action ensures that it will be among the first wave of states to launch regulated sports betting in a post-PASPA world.
