(PRESS RELEASE) --The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod, in partnership with William Hill, has launched its new William Hill Sports Book, open now. The William Hill Sports Book features the latest betting technology, a spacious setting and a 110-foot wraparound high-resolution LED screen with 12 additional HDTVs where fans can watch all of their favorite sporting events. There are 88 seats in the Sports Book, as well as an additional 98 seats in the View Lounge, which overlooks the William Hill Sports Book. The View Lounge also opens this week and offers craft cocktails and small bites, with flatscreen TVs for sports viewing and convenient access to the Sports Book for betting. “The William Hill Sports Book at The STRAT is now Golden Entertainment’s flagship sports book and we couldn’t be happier to see it come to fruition,” said executive vice president and chief operating officer of Golden Entertainment, Inc., Steve Arcana. “This opening is a key element in our renovations and upgrades here at The STRAT and we look forward to working with William Hill at our additional properties in the future.” In celebration of the opening and the current college basketball tournament, William Hill is offering a limited-time promotion, available now through Thursday, May 31: guests creating a new William Hill Nevada Mobile Sports using promo code “STRAT50” and making a minimum of $50 in sports bets will receive a $50 bonus. The bonus will be applied to the within 14 days of making the bet. “Our friends at Golden Entertainment have done a great job with the new, state-of-the-art Sports Book at The STRAT,” said CEO of William Hill U.S., Joe Asher. “It is something that sports fans absolutely have to check out during the tournament.”
