When choosing a casino resort to stay at, some of the first things you tend to look at are what kind of amenities it offers in addition to gaming, such as food options, pools and shopping. In order to keep up with competition, casino properties across the U.S. continue to update and open new options for people to enjoy. While that happens, on the other hand, you have some that have the unpleasant experience of going through a closure, including a well-known Las Vegas resort that is seeing its final days. Let’s take a look at that closure, along with plenty of new openings guests can look forward to.

10. Sammy Hagar to debut Sammy’s Island at Palms Pool in Las Vegas
Next month, Sammy Hagar and Palms Casino Resort will introduce Sammy’s Island, a tropical pool getaway at the Las Vegas pool experience.

Featuring a blend of food, cocktails made with Hagar’s signature spirits, and live music performances to make poolside days and nights come alive, Sammy’s Island will officially debut on Friday, 17 May.

The sun-filled oasis will feature an abundance of cabanas and daybeds, four exclusive Red Rocker-themed cabanas, a pool island designed for lounging in the sun, and a poolside restaurant.
